ElderTG
An email list for TGs 50+ & SOFFAs 

ElderTG is a support and networking e-mail list for both MTF and FTM transsexual, transgender, and intersex persons aged 50 and older and SOFFAs (significant others, friends, family, and allies) of such persons. Both those who have been dealing with transgender/gender issues for a long time and those who are new to the issues are welcome. 

ElderTG is moderated by Loree Cook-Daniels. Loree is the partner of an FTM and a professional in the field of aging and public policy. Loree is assisted by Robyn Walters, a postop M2F who is married to an F2M. 

ElderTG is a confidential list in that its members are asked not to cross-post (without explicit permission of the original poster) to other lists and not to discuss the names and/or e-mail "handles" of other subscribers with non-subscribers. Those who are discovered to have violated these rules will be unsubscribed. However, these measures are not foolproof. Subscribers and potential subscribers who are concerned about their privacy are *strongly* urged to subscribe to the list using (and continue to consistently use) an email address and name different from their real name and usual e-mail address. 

Potential subscribers to ElderTG are asked to send an e-mail to BOTH its Moderator (LoreeCD@aol.com) AND to its Deputy Moderator (robynw@hotmail.com) explaining their interest in ElderTG and age qualification and asking to be subscribed. Since Loree travels extensively, Robyn will handle subscription and other list matters as needed.
